1. Who we are

Adorable Applique (adorableapplique.com, "we", "us") is an online store selling machine embroidery and applique design files. The store is operated by a company registered in Bulgaria (European Union). You can reach us anytime at helpdesk@adorableapplique.com.

2. These terms

By creating an account, placing an order, or downloading a design (including free designs), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. Your account

Purchases require an account. Signing in is passwordless — we email a one-time code to your address — so keeping your email account secure and up to date is essential: it is how you access everything you have bought. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Digital products

Everything we sell is a digital file for machine embroidery. There are no physical goods and nothing is shipped. Using our designs requires an embroidery machine and, depending on your workflow, embroidery software. Available file formats are listed on each design's page — please make sure your machine supports one of them before purchasing. Stitched results depend on your machine, materials, and stabilizing; reasonable variation from product photos is normal.

5. License — what you may and may not do

When you buy (or claim for free) a design, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for that design. You may:

• download the files to your own devices and keep personal backup copies;
• stitch the design as many times as you like on your own machine(s);
• sell or gift finished, stitched items you make yourself — craft fairs, your own shop, online marketplaces are all fine.

You may not:

• share, sell, trade, gift, publish, or otherwise redistribute the design files themselves — in any format, original or converted, in whole or in part;
• include our files in any bundle, collection, membership, or file-sharing service;
• edit, convert, or digitize our designs into new digital files for distribution, or claim our designs as your own;
• use the designs for factory or otherwise mass-scale production.

The design files remain our (or our digitizers') intellectual property. The license is personal to your account and ends for a design if you materially breach these terms.

6. Free designs and promotions

Free designs (including the Daily Free Design) and promotional discounts are covered by the same license as purchased designs. Promotions can change or end at any time; a promotion applies only while it is shown on the site.

7. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Payment is processed by PayPal — we never see or store your card details. Your order is complete when the payment is confirmed by the payment provider. Where consumption taxes (e.g. VAT or sales tax) apply, they are either included in the shown price or added at checkout, as indicated.

8. Delivery

Delivery is instant and digital: as soon as your payment is confirmed, the designs appear in your Download Center and we email you an order confirmation. Nothing is shipped physically.

9. Refunds

Because delivery is instant, refunds for digital files are limited — but if something is wrong with your order, we will make it right. The details, including how EU withdrawal rights apply to instant digital delivery, are in our Refund Policy.

10. Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the site: no automated scraping or bulk downloading, no attempts to bypass access controls or payment, no abusive or fraudulent activity (including vote manipulation in design contests). We may suspend accounts involved in such activity.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and the designs are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. spoiled fabric or lost profit), and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects statutory consumer rights that apply to you in your country of residence.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria and applicable European Union law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Changes apply to orders placed after the change.
